Information we do not collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address or payment details.

ROM files that you open from your own device are processed entirely inside your browser. They are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

Information stored on your device

The site uses your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB to remember your language preference, emulator settings, control mappings and game save data. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Dropbox import (optional)

If you use “Import from Dropbox”, the Dropbox Chooser runs in a Dropbox-controlled window so you can pick a file from your own account. We then download that file into your browser to run the emulator. The ROM is not uploaded to our servers. Dropbox’s own privacy policy applies to your use of their Chooser and account.

Google Drive import (optional)

If you use “Import from Google Drive”, Google’s sign-in and file picker ask for read-only access to your Drive so you can choose a ROM. We download the selected file into your browser only; it is not uploaded to our servers. Google’s privacy policy applies to authentication and Drive access.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited, which features are used, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This information is aggregated and helps us improve the site. Google’s processing of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
